Business Development and Customer Acquisition Officer (Nigeria)

Base Location: Lagos/Abuja




Reporting to the Country Manager, this role will create, develop and nurture business relations new and existing clients with an ambition to expand the market for Binance Nigeria, Ghana and other West African countries. The position holder will focus on identifying and developing new sales leads, create market awareness and utilize local partners in selling to the right customers. They are also required to develop new business opportunities including OTC and P2P.


Key KPIs for this role include the number of new users who have completed KYC and the trading volume of the market for their region.



Responsibilities:



    • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas and trends

    • Developing a business strategy with a focus on revenue

    • Generate leads and think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business

    • Arranging business development meetings with prospective corporate clients

    • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes where and when necessary

    • Train internal teams and arranging external training where appropriate

    • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.

    • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.

    • Following up new business opportunities (such as OTC, P2P) and Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

    • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.

    • Overseeing the development of marketing materials




Requirements:



    • A degree in business management and (or) any related field is essential.

    • Further education in Business Administration gained through experience is desirable

    • At least 5 years proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role

    • Preferable with proven working experience in network marketing strategy

    • Working experience in Blockchain and cryptocurrency industry a strong plus



    • Knowledge and Skills

    • The ability to think strategically with deep understanding of marketing principles

    • Extensive social network in blockchain and crypto industry

    • Initiative and a high level of self-confidence to start things from scratch

    • Networking and public speaking skills.

    • Good communication, negotiation and liaison skills

    • Ability to network; build rapport and make decisions

    • Project management skills
