Director of Experiential Merchant Program - Shopify Plus

As the Director of our Large Merchant Program you are a builder and architect of something that has never existed. You will be responsible for building an organization that delivers a world class experience to our largest merchants. These are the most innovative, fastest growing retail brands in the world, like FashionNova, GymShark, Kylie Cosmetics, Steve Madden, UntuckIt, and many more. We need a builder, an innovative thinker, and someone who has an entrepreneurial perspective to create a new way for large merchants to interact and experience Shopify Plus.



Responsibilities:



    • Build a world class customer experience for the largest merchants on the Shopify Plus platform

    • Your team will revolutionize the engagement model, connecting Shopify Plus to our merchants everyday

    • Drive the vision for our large merchant experience across Shopify, leading cross-functional teams and/or projects, in an effort to address technical and commercial roadblocks and challenges

    • Be a strong advocate for the needs of our largest merchants, and have a good understanding of their business operations and technical gaps

    • Along with the sales team, you’ll help instill confidence with new merchants that Shopify Plus is the right platform to enable their growth

    • You’ll hire and develop a team of people obsessed with creating an amazing customer experience




Relevant experience for the role:



    • An innovator that is obsessed with building amazing experiences

    • Built and led an amazing customer experience teams in a global business

    • Experience participating in large transformation initiatives for complex organizations

    • Accomplished and inspiring leader of high-performance teams in demanding, ever-changing environments

    • Extensive experience managing executive level relationships at large global customers 

    • Technical aptitude and experience that facilitates being a credible part of regular technology based conversation

    • Excellent communicator and relationship builder, internally and externally
