EMEA Marketing Lead, Shopify Plus

We are an international brand with offices across North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. As the Marketing Lead in EMEA you will advocate for the needs of the region and both guide and help execute on a broad range of activities in the UK and Europe. Reporting into the Global Director of Demand Generation, you will work collaboratively across the global marketing department, including digital, partner marketing, field marketing, product marketing and content. This role is based in London, United Kingdom.

Requirements For The Role



    • Rich integrated, B2B marketing experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS company

    • Demand generation and performance marketing expert; highly skilled in leveraging CRM data to inform and influence decision making in collaboration with business partners

    • Strong, proven abilities in being able to develop and manage a diverse marketing portfolio (offline, demand generation, operations, content, etc.)

    • Unafraid to get your hands dirty whether it’s coming up with email copy or being onsite at a conference

    • Experience working within integrated marketing teams locally while partnering closely with HQ to scale operations

    • Experience managing agencies to deliver high quality work

    • Ability to lead and execute in a rapidly changing business environment, and negotiate effectively to gain resolution

    • Ability to influence cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas.

    • Experienced in Salesforce CRM, Marketo, and other marketing platforms

    • Experience executing field marketing activations in UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe a bonus

    • Experience working with diverse sales teams, building strong rapport and partnerships




Responsibilities



    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including marketing, sales, enablement and merchants to stay informed on Plus relevance in-market

    • Represent the Shopify Plus brand publicly and internally

    • Evaluate merchant research, market conditions and competitor data to inform decisions

    • Manage a diverse portfolio consisting of multiple regions and marketing functions

    • Understanding of market positioning and how to work within brand guardrails while catering to local markets

    • Leverage data to inform and influence decision making in collaboration with business partners

    • Advocate for the needs of EMEA and communicate these back to HQ
