Technical Solution Consultant

We are seeking a Technical Solution Consultant to join our sales organization as a member of the Solution Consulting team. In this role, you will be integral to the continued growth and expansion of Bullhorn as a mission-critical workforce platform.

You will have the opportunity to combine both your technical and business acumen to drive the technology strategy for the Global Solution Consulting team in support of our strategic sales initiatives. We are looking for a highly motivated individual experienced in pre-sales activities, with the ability to have deep technical conversations at all levels, including C-level decision maker. You will need direct software engineering experience in both a producer and leader of delivery for focused, agile technical teams.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, a typical day might include:

  • Architecting our Sales Demo Environment

  • Solution, design and build proof-of-concepts

  • Lead development efforts for account-specific demonstrations

  • Consult with customers and partners on API best practices

  • Deliver technical presentations to CTOs and CIOs

This might be the role for you if you have:

  • Software engineering experience and ability to work as sole contributor when required

  • Java 8 and Spring MVC Framework

  • Full stack JavaScript or the Angular 2/4 frontend framework

  • Modern web design and practices (stateless design, reactive layout, etc.)

  • Continuous integration techniques through Jenkins or Travis

  • SaaS architecture models

Bonus points for:

  • Ability to converse about security standards and recommend best practices

  • Experience with Amazon AWS suite of services

  • Knowledge of web app servers (Tomcat)

  • Automation with Jenkins

  • Ability to mentor and manage a small team
