If so, please consider joining our team! You will have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact from day one by qualifying all inbound leads for our Flockjay Partnerships team. You will be responsible for generating new business pipelines in small / mid-size / large enterprises, working closely with seasoned Partnership Managers, and booking calls onto their calendars. You will also help Flockjay develop the company’s sales and success approach and be eager to progress in a fast growing organization. 

We take a personal interest in your development, and provide you the tools and training to launch your tech career, even if it's in the early stages, or if you're looking to transition from another industry. Your success in this role is defined by strong communication skills, a coachable mindset, problem-solving ability, and deep empathy for our students and customers. You’ll work closely with other team leads on strategic sales initiatives that affect the company.

What You’ll Do:

    • Ownership over the Inbound sales process including: Account Prioritization and Prospecting, Messaging and Cadence structure, Reporting on BDR KPIs to management , and Continuous improvement on the Inbound BDR Sales Cadence/Playbook

    • Qualify leads from marketing activities as sales opportunities

    • Understand a potential partner’s business drivers, challenges, pain points

    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product and keep abreast of upcoming product updates and releases

    • Create an amazing first impression to our prospects and customers that is in line with Flockjay’s values

    • Conduct first contact qualifying calls with senior executives within prospected accounts

    • Collaborate with our experienced Partnership Managers to build a highly engaged pipeline of opportunities and maximize close rates

    • Be open to coaching, training, and career development

    • 0-2 years of relevant sales experience

    • Desire to grow and advance your career in sales

    • Excellent phone, and written communication skills

    • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

    • No reservations making cold calls

    • An ambitious, creative, goal-oriented and customer-focused mindset

    • Understanding of the sales cycle, how to qualify leads, and handle objections

    • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, or other modern tech stack tools

    • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing team environment

Nice to have:

    • Prior Sales, consulting, or start-up experience

    • Experience using Salesforce or other Client Relationship Management (CRM).Experience in the recruiting industry

    • Positive and optimistic personality - you help others see the positive in any situation

    • Passion for helping people - especially when it comes to unlocking potential and increasing access to opportunity
