Who You Are:

As Flockjay’s Content Manager, you will work with Flockjay’s Brand & Content Marketing team in developing a consistent brand identity and establishing a holistic multi-platform presence. Reporting into the Head of Brand and Content, you will be spearheading the “Content” side of this Flockjay unit. You’ll oversee creative storytelling across the business, elevating and tightening the brand voice, managing content producers and cross-departmental relationships. You’ll also concept and develop big creative ideas while producing, editing, and guiding meaningful content. As our Content Manager you will serve as Flockjay’s primary gatekeeper for the company’s content production and workflow and will work closely with Flockjay’s Brand Manager in guiding the brand’s voice and standards. 

As our ideal candidate, you are passionate about delivering innovative, compelling 360 content campaigns and working cross functionally across key B2C and B2B stakeholders. You understand how to use information, such as metrics and statistics about the target customers' demographics & preferences to manage the creation of multimedia content that resonates with our audiences. You will also have the ability to manage and create inclusive content that drives access and upward mobility for historically excluded communities.

What You’ll Do:

    • Work closely with the Head of Brand and Content and the Brand Manager on all things Flockjay marketing 

    • Plan, develop, create, and implement the content required for integrated B2B and B2C campaigns

    • Leverage a creative mindset and passion for storytelling in order to envision new formats, trends, and tools

    • Assist in the creation of content performance dashboards, pull relevant data, and proactively inform key stakeholders on results

    • Provide data-driven recommendations on how to optimize content strategy based on previous performance

    • Manage Flockjay’s content calendar, social media listening tools, and work with Flockjay’s Growth and Product teams to update and implement new creative into our CMS

    • Manage all content vendor relationships, workflows, deadlines, SOWs  and content production 

    • Manage and prioritize all inter-departmental content request and communicate workflows and deadlines accordingly

What You'll Bring:

    • Passion for FJ’s mission and building inclusive content for historically excluded communities

    • Proven ability and success leading content strategy, development and programming

    • Ability to manage and produce compelling content 

    • A proven record of creating effective content for specific audiences and meeting deadline

    • A thorough understanding of paid marketing and targeting campaigns across all platforms (email, social, events, community engagement strategies) 

    • A thorough understanding on content production built around marketing needs (assets, email, paid, blog, and social media etc.,) 

    • Copywriting experience and ability to write across multiple platforms 

    • Experience managing social media listening tools (ex: Hootsuite)

    • Experience managing and using CMS  

    • Experience with Google Analytics, G Suite, MS Office and Project Management Softwares (ex: Asana)

    • Scrappy, proactive attitude - start up experience a plus! 

    • Bonus points for experience with: video editing and/or SFDC (Salesforce)
