Have you helped lay the foundation for a top notch Growth or Acquisition machine at an early stage, consumer facing company? 




Are you a marketing generalist who understands the entire customer journey, strives to be a full stack marketer, and is also an absolutely rockstar copywriter?

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to take our Growth Marketing to the next level! You’ll be responsible for coming up with growth strategy, testing new ways to drive student acquisition, and setting a foundation for major growth in 2021. 




You’ll need a solid B2C marketing background, comfort being scrappy in a startup environment, and the ability to just get things done independently. Experience in a Product Marketing role could be helpful but is not required. 



As our Growth Marketing Manager, you will report directly to our Head of Growth and collaborate closely with our Admissions team. This position is fully remote, however, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.



What You'll Do



    • Plan and run our student acquisition marketing initiatives to ensure that we hit student pipeline targets for each class

    • Continually research and test into new acquisition strategies

    • Measure, test, and improve the efficacy of our student referral program

    • Develop a partnership strategy to build a steady student pipeline from relevant organizations and communities

    • Continue to test and optimize paid ad channels for cost effective acquisition

    • Create and execute a robust content marketing strategy to support the student journey

    • Setup and maintain our marketing automation cadences for email and SMS

    • Leverage automation and productivity tools to multiply your output as an individual (Zapier, Airtable, etc.)

    • Work hand and hand with our Admissions team to ensure we hit student enrollment goals




What You'll Bring



    • Prior success — you have at least 3 years experience in a growth or acquisition marketing capacity demonstrating measurable success (B2C)

    • Belief — you believe in what Flockjay is doing to democratize education & access

    • Passion  — you have an excellent knowledge of content creation and distribution and naturally stay informed of the latest developments

    • Creativity — you’re able to develop new ideas and find interesting ways to reach our target customers

    • Willingness to take risks — you aren’t afraid to take chances and know when it's appropriate to take risks

    • Communication skills —  you are a natural storyteller and have outstanding written communication skills

    • Adaptability — things change quickly at a fast-paced, early-stage startup and you’ll need to keep up! 

    • Organizational skills — you’re able to juggle multiple initiatives with ease
