Have you helped get demand generation off the ground at an early stage company? Perhaps you researched customer personas and helped define messaging? Did you also create content and even help run a few webinars? 

Are you also energized to remove obstacles for people from non-traditional and underrepresented backgrounds to access life-changing jobs in tech? If you answered with a spirited “Yes!” to the above, we’d love to have you join our flock! 

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to take our demand gen marketing to the next level! You’ll be responsible for coming up with our demand generation strategy, testing new ways to drive qualified leads, and setting a foundation for major growth in 2021. (Our sales team is hungry and they demand more!) 

You’ll need a solid B2B marketing background, strong writing chops, comfort being scrappy in a startup environment, and the ability to just get things done independently. Experience in a Product Marketing role could be helpful. 

As our Marketing Manager, you will report directly to our Head of Growth and collaborate closely with our Partnerships & Learning teams. This position is fully remote, however, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

What You'll Do

    • Define our demand generation and lead generation strategies

    • Execute our B2B marketing initiatives with a focus on social, long form content, and webinars

    • Refine and build upon our customer personas and marketing messaging

    • Setup and maintain the tech stack that bridges marketing and sales (CRM, lead enrichment, etc.)

    • Leverage automation and productivity tools to multiply your output as an individual (Zapier, Phantom Buster, etc.)

    • Test into a variety of new marketing strategies and channels

    • Work with our Partnerships team to conduct customer research to inform marketing

What You'll Bring

    • Prior success — you have at least 3 years experience in a B2B marketing capacity demonstrating measurable success

    • Belief — you believe in what Flockjay is doing to democratize education & access

    • Passion  — you have an excellent knowledge of content creation and distribution and naturally stay informed of the latest developments

    • Creativity — you’re able to develop new ideas and find interesting ways to reach our target customers

    • Willingness to take risks — you aren’t afraid to take chances and know when it's appropriate to take risks

    • Communication skills —  you are a natural storyteller and have outstanding written communication skills

    • Adaptability — things change quickly at a fast-paced, early-stage startup and you’ll need to keep up! 

    • Organizational skills — you’re able to juggle multiple initiatives with ease
