Who You Are: 

As our Senior Admissions Advisor, you will be critical to fulfilling Flockjay’s mission of empowering upward mobility for jobseekers from non-traditional and underrepresented backgrounds. You will combine your proven track record for running high functioning sales motions with your empathy for under represented talent to drive the strategic direction and execution of how we select the best and brightest Flockjay applicants to our learning programs. 

To do so, you will use your analytical horsepower to ensure we are building a human-first, data-driven admissions process with an eye towards moving applicants through the funnel in the most efficient way possible. You will work cross-functionally with other leaders at Flockjay to determine the ideal customer profile for students and build the process and systems for assessing and evaluating skills and competencies. You will partner with the Growth Team to run admissions events, build collateral, and optimize the admissions funnel.  

In this role you’ll report to our Admissions Manager, work closely with other senior leaders and collaborate with other admissions advisors on the team!

    • Qualify potential applicants while answering questions

    • Identify, nurture, interview, and support prospective Flockjay fellows

    • Demonstrate the value of Flockjay with product knowledge

    • Coordinate scheduling and reporting on Flockjay applicants with cross-functional teams

    • Evaluate, implement and improve tools and rubrics used for written and live applicant assessments

    • Innovate and scale our admissions process to meet enrollment targets for top talent joining our training programs

    • Build, launch and scale new admissions programs that will help applicants move through the admissions funnel

    • Deliver on key admissions funnel metrics, including hitting admissions volume and retention goals, and ensure success for each admissions team member

    • Manage the admissions funnel, reacting in real time to the data and trends you analyze

    • Bring a player/coach mentality - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and show the team how it’s done

    • Prior success -- 3-5 years of experience running high volume sales motions 

    • Connectivity — you have a high EQ and you’re excellent at motivating people, including people on your team and potential students to see the benefits Flockjay will bring to their careers

    • Proactivity — you’re motivated by the opportunity to deliver genuine value to our students and build this business, and you’re willing to dive right in!

    • Data Skills - you live and breath funnel metrics, forecasting, and have experience working in Salesforce

    • Grit - you’re willing to take initiative and work autonomously knowing you have the full support of the team

    • Adaptability — things change quickly and you’ll need to keep up!

    • Belief - you believe in what Flockjay is doing to democratize education & access

    • Organizational Skills - you’re able to juggle multiple initiatives with ease
